Fifty men opened the parade, entering in the dark in the great parade hall. They carried lanterns to give light to the way of the presentation. The “battalion” of male models dressed as policemen and wearing sunglasses, made a kind of wall to give security to creations that would begin to be paraded. An allusion to the constant and unfortunate events involving violence between police officers and citizens in the city of São Paulo.
With the theme aimed at the police forces, the great star of Ellus’ presentation was the sunglasses. The concept was obtained based on the classic image of the policeman, in uniform and the indefectible Aviator style models, eternalized by the Ray-Ban brand.Based on this idea, the brand presented numerous design variations on the dream piece of consumption of every person connected with the world of fashion.
So, what was seen were in addition to the Aviator models already known, other stylized, with design similar to the visors or masks, dark black lenses or brown/nude gradient, in addition to a wider model, covering the entire frontal region of the face, Which accompanied looks that deconstructed police uniforms, with emphasis on blue, yellow, green and, of course, black.
