After Google release its known Zeitgeist of the year, it was the turn of YouTube reveal today what were the most watched videos in the world with its Rewind 2011. That list includes clips with huge variety, from musicals to bobinhos and funny. The most seen, in fact, probably will not please everyone, but follows the trend we saw in the Zeitgeist: the music video Friday, American Rebecca Black.
Originally the clip was posted in February, but for some reason Rebecca took the air the video and sent it again in mid-September, at which time she also released her second video. For statistical purposes, YouTube engineers must have considered views of the first and second sending. And for those who want to refresh your memory, here’s the video below.

- Nyan Cat [original]
- Look At Me Now – Chris Brown ft. Lil Wayne, Busta Rhymes (Cover by @KarminMusic)
- The Creep (feat. Nicki Minaj & John Waters)

In all YouTube reveals that this year the total video views exceeded 1 trillion, or 140 views for every person on the planet Earth. Here are some other lists of most watched videos on the official YouTube blog.
In addition to these lists you can see on YouTube Rewind this year a retrospective with all the videos that have been successful over the months so far. And if you can not see all videos from the list of the 10 most watched up there, see below a summary of all of them presented by none other than his own Rebecca Black.
