Twitter Full Four Years

In addition to the F1 driver Ayrton Senna and character of Monica comics, Twitter was another to blow out candles on Sunday. It was on March 21, 2006 Jack Dorsey, one of its co-founders, sent the first tweet to the site microblogging, writing the first chapter of a story full of baleiadas, celebrities and excessive hype told in just 140 characters.

There are at least a year and a half on the crest of the Internet wave, the page seems to enjoy an enviable longevity to the frenetic network renewal standards and last month its servers received no less than 50 million tweets per day. [The Next Web]
