For the upcoming Spring-Summer 2015 season, the popular brand of sneakers and sportswearPuma collaborates with Vashtie Kola, the well-known New York creative in a new sneaker capsule collection and unisex sportswear.
Kola is a creative person in NY, has worked as a director, filmmaker, artist, designer, creative consultant and DJ, an enormously multi-faceted person who is always at the forefront of the Downtown New York scene.
The new Puma by Vashtie Kola collection takes inspiration from urban music and the New York lifestyle of the 80s and 90s, especially the B-Boy culture. Paying tribute to those years, some classic models of the signature as the Puma States and the model T7s have been reedited with fresh and new ideas for the spring.
In the words of the creative itself “When Puma contacted me, I was interested from the first moment in this collaboration, since I have grown following this brand.When I was little I was attracted to the world of skateboarding, alternative music and, by Puma. I am excited about this collaboration that pays homage to my childhood and to the undergroung scene in New York. “
A new sports collection that seeks to collect the best of New York street style, the retro style and lifestyle of the 80’s and 70’s and whose campaign has been contextualized in the popular metro of the city par excellence.
