Model car hobbyists and ship builders beware: this in-ear earphone has it in the truest sense in itself. With a whole set of filter modules for treble and bass, each in the ‘Minus’, ‘Plus’ and ‘Neutral’ strengths (an “extended high frequency” filter there as a little extra), you can tinker to your heart’s content on the individual frequency response.
There are also three ear adapter mitigating external noise and detachable cable on both ears. The sound is hard to describe but not only because of the possible variations. The seat of the SA-6 into the ear canal is almost more decisive than at other in-ears – the selection of the appropriate ear adapter is therefore almost more important than the individual frequency response of the filter.
The receiver in the ear, sits there not very deep, but beautifully controlled bass (with the plus-bass modules), detailed MIDs and clear, finely textured highs. The listener sits not good, sound can disintegrate quickly. If possible try out!
